New Cookbook Photography for Eat with Intention

It does not only present recipes for nourishing dishes, but also shares the importance of eating with intention. I established the book’s loose, in-the-moment visual style with the client: Quarto Publishing. We worked with food stylist extraordinaire Mariana Velásquez over a week-long shoot to capture over 60 beautiful food and lifestyle images.

Behind the Scenes of a Cookbook Shoot

I had the pleasure to photograph Miri Rotkovitz' new book Bubbe and Me in the Kitchen for Sonoma Press last spring. Miri celebrates the food and stories her grandmothers shared with her and also added her own twists to the recipes. On set we had a great time sharing Babka and our own Bubbe, Savta, Grandma, Oma, and Nana memories.
